Pirton Village Sign, on Great Green, Pirton, Hertfordshire, was erected to commemorate Queen Elizabeth II’s Silver Jubilee on 7th June 1977. It is a carved wooden sign depicting hands which are plaiting straw which at one time was a local industry.
