When I was 28, I worked in Tokyo for a couple of years. One of the best times of my life. I considered staying at one point. I remember my first cherry blossom festival, walking under the trees as a foreigner and invited to sit with groups of families and friends, sharing their picnic and drinking sake. Happy days. 🙂

The 80s tune was at the back of my mind whilst wandering through the garden today. It was easy to link it to the Japanese cherry blossom.
I’ve just looked them up and was surprised to see that they did have some fame way back.

I like this time of year when various blossom starts appearing, can’t say the same for the song though, it was never one of my favourites.
The blossoms are one of my favourites in the garden.The tune was an earworm roday.
